Sometimes life happens.  Sometimes we have surgery and our birthday’s happen to fall on the same time.  Well, what is a wife to do?  Make fun of you, of course!

This cake was made for a man who had a double knee replacement surgery.  He was still recovering when his birthday came around.  His wife wanted to cheer him up and celebrate his birthday in a fun way, so… here is the “Knee Replacement Cake!”  I don’t know if you can tell from the picture, but her husband has a hammer toe, which she had me replicate in sugar.  I didn’t even feel guilty for making them this cake, since it fits in exactly with my sense of humor!  We thought it was hilarious!
